Screws, plates and single components to reorder — the set grows with your cases.
Your patient's own bone,
exactly the right grain.
Three cutting cylinders, one handle, no force needed — and the mill grinds cortical bone as effortlessly as cancellous.
The mill and its cylinders
The defect decides the grain: cylinders can be reordered individually, collection containers match the head.
Forged in Tuttlingen
Both instruments are made where Ustomed has been crafting dental instruments since 1974 — in the world's largest medical-technology cluster.
About UstomedFrequently asked questions
Titanium or implant steel — which screws should I choose?
Titanium screws stay in the bone: they osseointegrate, so no second procedure is needed to remove them. Implant steel is the choice for temporary fixation — of bone blocks or membranes, for example — that is removed after healing. Both versions come in the same set layout, from 1.0 to 1.6 mm.
Which cutting cylinder produces which grain?
The fine cylinder delivers chips of around 2.0 mm, the medium one around 3.0 mm, the coarse one correspondingly larger material. Rule of thumb: the smaller the defect and the denser the graft needs to be packed, the finer the grain. All three cylinders fit the same handle.
Can I reorder screws, plates and cylinders individually?
Yes. Every screw size, every plate and every cutting cylinder can be ordered on its own — you never need to buy a complete new set. The most common items are listed above on this page; everything else can be found in the shop by its article number.
Can I exchange or return bone screws?
No — sterile products, bone screws and implants are excluded from exchange by law. That is why it pays to confirm diameter and length with us before ordering: our contact persons advise on every set.
Where do I find the instructions for use and reprocessing information?
The instructions for use and the eIFU of all instruments — including the bone mill and the Bone Fixation Set — are collected in the download area.
